Turkey Havarti Bagel Sandwich

A simple, classic bagel sandwich with Havarti, turkey, lettuce, and tomato ready in minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole whole wheat bagel, sliced
  • mustard or mayonnaise as desired
  • 1 slice Arla Havarti cheese or 1 ounce chunk cheese, sliced
  • 2 slices deli turkey
  • 1 leaf lettuce
  • 3 slices tomato
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Slice the whole wheat bagel in half horizontally and place both halves cut-side up on a cutting board.
  • Spread mustard or mayonnaise on the cut sides of the bagel, if desired.
  • Place the Havarti cheese on one bagel half, then top with the deli turkey slices.
  • Add the lettuce leaf and tomato slices on top of the turkey.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Close the sandwich with the other bagel half, cut in half if desired, and serve.

Notes

  • Use your preferred bagel type if you don't have whole wheat.
  • Swap mustard or mayonnaise based on taste.
  • Slice the tomato thinly for easier biting.
