  • 1 canCampbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 28 ouncestater tots

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9" x 13" baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup Tomato Juice, 3/4 cup Oatmeal, 1 beaten Egg, 1/4 teaspoon Onion Salt, 1 teaspoon Salt, and 1/2 teaspoon Pepper; mix well.
  • Brown 2 pounds ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain excess fat and let the beef cool slightly.
  • Add the cooked ground beef to the bowl with the mixed ingredients and stir until evenly combined.
  • Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared 9" x 13" baking pan.
  • Spoon or spread 1 can Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup over the beef mixture.
  • Arrange 28 ounces tater tots in a single layer over the soup-topped beef.
  • Bake uncovered at 350°F for 1 hour, until the tater tots are golden and the casserole is heated through.
  • Let the casserole rest 5 minutes before serving.
