1cupshredded cheese(cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2: In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are translucent. Then, add the minced garlic and chopped broccoli florets. Cook for another 5 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still bright green. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, crack the 4 large eggs and whisk them together. Pour in the 2 cups of milk, and add the salt and pepper. Mix well until everything is combined.
Step 4: Add the 1 cup of Bisquick baking mix to the egg and milk mixture. Stir until there are no lumps.
Step 5: Fold in the sautéed vegetables and 1 cup of shredded cheese into the batter. Mix until well incorporated but be gentle to maintain the airiness.
Step 6: Grab a greased pie dish or a 9-inch round baking dish. Pour the mixture into the dish and smooth the top. Bake in your preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 7: Once it’s baked to perfection, let the quiche cool for a few minutes. This makes it easier to cut and serve.
Notes
